The Master’s Program is divided into six sections: civil law, economic and financial law, public law, criminal law, labor and social law, fundamental jurisprudence. Each section recruits its students independently. The total number enrolled in the master’s program per year is 62 students (including admittance by application and through entrance exam) and the numbers enrolled in the different sections vary every year. The entrance channels for Master’s program include admission via recommendation, admission via entrance exam, as well as joint admission for overseas Chinese, foreign students, and Mainland China students (overseas Chinese students, foreign students, and Mainland China students are recruited additionally).
The Ph.D. Program focuses on the studies of civil law, economic and financial law, public law, criminal law, labor and social law, and fundamental jurisprudence. The program recruits seven students every year and the entrance channels include admission via entrance exam as well as joint admission for overseas Chinese, foreign students, and Mainland China students (overseas Chinese students, foreign students, and Mainland China students are recruited additionally).
※Both the the Master’s and Ph.D. Programs accept foreign students. Applicants must possess either undergraduate law degree (LL. B) or Master of Laws degree (LL. M) and acquire either a certificate of the Chinese Proficiency Test (TOP/ previously known as CPT) of Band B at level 4, the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) intermediate level 6, or other equivalent Chinese proficiency certificate when applying.
